Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Dodges Ferry, Hobart Southern beaches, TAS
We are a professional couple with a two-year old boy and love to explore new places. We will look after your place as if it was our own. Able to look after pets or the garden as well. We would also be open to swapping cars.

Recently rebuilt waterfront modern home with an amazing views overlooking the water, including an island. As we are on a north-facing block (rare on a southern coastline), we collect all-day sun. In fact, even in the middle of winter, the house remains warm. For extra warmth, we have a free-standing woodheater and heat pump upstairs and underfloor heating in the bedrooms.
Upstairs is a large open space with modern kitchen, plus a dining and lounge area. This opens out to the deck overlooking Frederick Henry Bay, with a BBQ and outdoor dining facilities.
Three bedrooms and two bathrooms are downstairs.
The property is beautifully landscaped, tied together with sandstone paths. At the front of the house (the water side) is a swim spa and well maintained flat lawn sports area with a badminton/volleyball net - the area is also great for golf putting and soccer. From the grass area you have direct access to the beach. At the back of the house is our productive garden. This includes many fruit trees, plus a herb and vegetable garden.
There are also lots of water toys like surfboards, sups and kayaks potentially available for use.

Dodges Ferry is a small coastal village just 35 minutes drive from Hobart. It has a reputation as Hobart's seaside playground with great beaches, surfing, fishing and diving. In fact, Park Beach is Tasmania's most popular surf beach, though there are several great beaches in the local area.
Dodges Ferry has some great cafes and a vibrant local art scene. It is also close to many excellent wineries (most with restaurants) and is a short drive to the Tasman Peninsula, which has many attractions on offer.
While Dodges Ferry is well equipped with essential services, including a large IGA, the larger town of Sorell - with Coles and Woolworths - is only 10 minutes drive.
