Home exchange and house swap holiday accommodation in Point Lonsdale, Bellarine Peninsula, Victoria., VIC
Maureen and Les are both retired primary teachers. We have 3 grown up sons who live and work elsewhere (Melbourne & Mornington Peninsula). We do not have any pets to look after and our garden is a very low maintenance native garden. We are keen cyclists, walkers, golfers and campers and there are bikes and golf sticks for use here. There are wonderful facilities for all these activities close by. Car exchange is negotiable. Maureen and Les were very generous in allowing us to use their spacious and comfortable home at a time that worked for us, making it possible for us to treat our three grandchildren to a few days by the beach. They enjoyed that immensely while we loved the relaxed feel of Point Lonsdale with its eclectic shopping strip and proximity to Queenscliff (another favourite!). The children also had fun in the beautiful garden. Maureen and Les were excellent communicators throughout and left our home just as they found it. We thoroughly enjoyed this exchange.

We had a wonderful swap with Maureen and Les to their charming Pt Lonsdale home. It stayed lovely and warm despite chilly and wild weather, we had a great time amongst the spacious and well-equipped rooms. Working remotely was a breeze and we loved heading to the main street to get coffees and lunches from Grow Cafe. Pt Lonsdale is beautiful and green, we had great beach walks and watched enormous ships carrying cargo into the bay from the local lighthouse. We weren't far from great vineyards and a Celtic festival one town over in Portarlington which was a highlight. Maureen and Les were very thoughtful hosts and guests, making sure we knew our way around and took amazing care of our place. We highly recommend swapping with them! Thanks for a great trip!

Swapping with Maureen and Les was a pleasure. They communicated well throughout the process and were easy and obliging. They left our place spotless on their departure. Their home was perfect for our getaway. It is in a beautiful, quiet location close to all the wonderful things the region has to offer, and provides everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend Maureen and Les and their lovely home.
